Victorian Tunbridge Ware Inlaid Box for Jewellery or Storage
This stunning box dates to the late 19th century, and is made from wood which has been inlaid with other types/colours of wood in a style called Tunbridge Ware.  Inside the box is lined with green felt, and is in generally good condition, except that the lock mechanism has been removed at some point leaving some damage to that area.  From the outside this is not visible.
The box measures 10 x 8 inches, and is a truly beautiful piece.
