This is a truly stunningvery early teapot by Wedgwood, dating to the mid 19th century - circa 1850.  It measures 6 1/2 inches across from handle to spout.  It is glazed in a creamy earthy colour, inside and out, with applied mid blue relief in panel scenes.  The piece is in absolutely amazing condition, stamped with the impressed Wedgwood mark to the base.
