A beautiful solid silver compact, with each piece hallmarked as 925 silver, though the rest of the marks are unidentified - [GS] (u) (.925)
The compact has a mirror in the lid, and an internal lidded section with additional brush holder.  The lid is set with an opaque hardstone which is sadly cracked though in solid condition.  To the top is a stunning deco styled setting with green stones and marcasite.

The compact measures 2 1/2 by 1 1/2 inches and aside from the crack to the stone, is in excellent condition with very solid hinges.
