Stunning turn of the twentieth century tureen, with original lid.  Decorated with a blue and white bird design and decorative finial.  The shape is really unusual, and the piece is in excellent condition with no damage at all.  The design is called Meliden, and they are by Keeling & Co.  Each measures 9 1/2 inches across and 5 inches high.
