1960s Kathie Winkle for Broadhurst Calypso Dinner Service
This amazing dinner service dates to the late 1960s and is designed by Kathie Winkle for Broadhurst.  It comprises six dinner plates (9 1/2 inches), five dessert plates (8 7/8 inches), five side plates (6 6/8 inches) and six cereal bowls (6 inches).  One of the bowls has a chip under the rim.  It would make an ideal service for four settings with extra spare pieces.

The design is transfer printed with the colours hand painted afterwards.  It is one of Kathie Winkles most famous designs, even featuring on the cover of the main publication of her designs!
